Body of Light explores dance and light painting as vessels of human memory. Prumsodun Ok, a dancer, and I explored how my light painting technologies can be incorporated into dance, with in-depth exploration on the effects different forms of dancing can create with the movement-sensitive sensors. Exploring the theme of memories, the collaboration culminated in a dance performance where Prumsodun paints streaks of light in the space, his gestures abstract articulations of his intimate recollections.
