orang (2022 - 2023)
With a component made up of LED strips and a sliding panel for viewers to control the amount of light, orang (‘people’)multiplies one's shadow, casting manipulatable layers of hues on the wall.
First presented as part of a trio of work for Wayang Bayang, an independent exhibition held during Singapore Art Week 2022.

In 2023, matahari was re-made for >input>output, a solo exhibition and mini open studio. Freed from the shelf, it is now mobile and can be set up anywhere dark.
