A 3-dimensional exploded view of
prayer's circuit, reinterpreted as an artwork in its own right. The electronic components are connected with copper tapes instead of wires. The acrylic-encased segments are detachable as they are held together by magnets, thus creating a circuit you can take apart and place back together.
A small LED was added to light up the artwork and create a compelling shadow. Viewers are free to move the wooden block of light around to examine the exploded view more closely or play with the shadow.
First exhibited at
>input>output, a solo exhibition and mini open studio at Art Outreach Singapore, as part of the HEARTH community art space initiative.
